Where are the Bibles?

 

Many print and electronic Bible versions are available through the library.

Print editions

Modern English translations of the Bible are in the Library of Congress call number range BS 185 - BS 198 in the 1st floor Reference section and in the Main Stacks on the 2nd floor. This includes:

  • King James Version (KJV)
  • New American Bible (NAB)
  • New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
  • New International Version (NIV)
  • and many others.

 

Electronic editions

Compare different translations side-by-side using these tools:

  • Oxford Biblical Studies Online (current LMU affiliates only)
