Do LMU alumni have access to the library's online databases?

Since most of the library's online databases are leased rather than owned, the contracts that are issued by database vendors only offer access to current LMU students, staff and faculty from off-campus. 

Alumni can get an LMU OneCard for free at the OneCard office. With your Alumni OneCard, register at the Information Desk on the first floor of the library for a guest computer login (unique username/password combination). This login information will enable alumni to use the computers in Information Commons to access the library's online databases. Guest computer access is restricted to current students at the end of fall and spring semesters - check the guest computer access policy for details. 

Theology alumni, in particular, might be interested in the following electronic resources:

1. ATLA Religion Database with ATLASerials - The William H. Hannon Library subscribes to this theological database which includes more than 500 full-text journal titles. Since you are an LMU alumna, you will need to fill out the ATLA Religion Database Application Form to request a password and login instructions for accessing this online database remotely.
2. Research in Ministry (RIM) - This free, open access ATLA database contains the indexes and abstracts of theses and doctoral projects from over 100 theological programs accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS).
3. Cooperative Digital Resources Initiative (CDRI) - This free, open access ATLA database is a repository of digital resources, such as photographs and postcards, contributed by participating theological schools and member libraries.
